Nerd For A Living is excited to return to Kansas City for Planet Comicon – April 28-30, 2017 at Bartle Hall Kansas City Convention Center. At this year’s show, our host Adron Buske will be staying very busy, moderating or presenting seven panels. Along with our signature “How to be a Nerd for a Living” panel, and “Real Life Power-Up” interactive seminar, Adron will be having conversations with several groups of creators, entertainment professionals, and more.

Nerdy Networking, the fun social meet-up for the ambitious geek, returns to St. Louis! Nerd For A Living and Super Heroines Etc. team-up again to host a fun, FREE evening of conversation, drinks, and learning. This edition of Nerdy Networking is happening Thursday, October 20th, at Industrious Office, an awesome social workspace in downtown St. Louis’s Washington Avenue district. The third-annual PixelPop Festival returns to St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th. PixelPop celebrates gaming – both digital/interactive video games and tabletop gaming. The convention focuses on the creation of games and the love of gaming itself, and the gaming community. Over 30 game demos will be available to learn and play during the weekend. Five rooms programming rooms will feature presentations and panel discussions throughout the weekend. And there will be freeplay sessions and game tournaments. Nerd For A Living is sponsoring the event for the third year in a row. N4AL’s Adron Buske will be on-hand Saturday, moderating 5 discussion panels. N4AL’s Wendy Buske will be on-site Sunday, moderating 3 panels.
Nerd For A Living presents the “Death & the High Cost of Resurrection” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 on Thursday, July 21st at 6:30pm in Room 26AB. Featured speakers will include Seanan McGuire (aka Mira Grant), Andy Schmidt, Mary Robinette Kowal, Anthony Ferrante, and Paul Cornell. Panel moderated by N4AL podcast host Adron Buske. On August 24th, Nerd For A Living’s Adron Buske presented our “Be Your Own Hero” interactive session at Super Heroines, Etc.’s SHE in the Pub gathering. Held at Schlafly Bottleworks in St. Louis, MO, the SHE in the Pub events are fun evenings of learning and dining. Nerdy folks of mutual interests get together for some friendly socializing, and to enjoy entertaining and informative presentations, panels, demonstrations, and more.
