Nerd For A Living co-founders Wendy Buske and Adron Buske are established working professionals in the realms of advertising, marketing, and broadcast & digital media. We bring a combined 20+ years of experience working across a great number of disciplines to N4AL.

Our ideal “nerd for a living” is someone who creates a sustainable income doing rewarding work in a genre entertainment industry they love. By “genre entertainment”, we mean any nerdy pop culture category – comics, gaming, anime, genre film & TV, art, maker/crafting, publishing, etc. This includes traditional 9-to-5 jobs, entrepreneurial start-ups and independent creators.

This pursuit may start as, or perpetually be, a part-time endeavor. But it’s more than a hobby. Being a Nerd for a Living is about dedicating your career to the pursuit and realization of your passions. To build your livelihood around industries and products that you are personally connected to, rather than toiling away in mundane jobs that offer little personal fulfillment.

Nerd For A Living presents speaker panels and informational lectures at pop culture conventions around the country. We are also available for speaking engagements at conferences, business meetings, social gatherings, college/university lectures, and more.
