Wizard World Comic-ConWe just returned from Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con 2013, where we presented a panel on marketing your brand. While we were there, we navigated the massive convention floors (this year’s WWCC took place on two levels of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center) to check out awesome merch and fantastic artist displays.

Since most of the publishers and media companies have moved their Chicago appearances to C2E2, the Wizard World con in Rosemont, IL, has become a combination celebrity autograph show and geek-swag bazar. The 2013 Artist Alley in particular was huge, featuring aisle-after-aisle of illustrators, authors, crafters and more. With so many wares on display, the quality and visual appeal of each booth or table made a big impact on how many attendees stopped by and made a purchase.

Below is a gallery of retail and artist booth displays that caught our eyes at the show. If you exhibit at conventions or trade shows (or even own a brick-and-mortar store), check out these conventioneers’ setups for ideas on how you can build your own eye-catching, money-making displays.

Did you spot some great displays at Wizard World Chicago? Tell us about them in the comments!
