Game of Bloggers Meet-Up at San Diego Comic-Con 2015

We’re now less than a month out from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con – cue manic muppet flailing as we struggle to get everything ready for another trip to the Nerd World Series.

Nerd For A Living officially launched at SDCC 2013. This will be N4AL’s 3rd appearance at Comic-Con (and 5th for us personally) and we’re always stoked to return to San Diego. SDCC is always 5 jam-packed days of nerd-sanity, and this year is no exception. And we get to kick it off with a bang at the Game of Bloggers Meet-Up.

On Wednesday, July 8th from 9:00pm-11:00pm, Crazy4ComicCon.com’s Tony B. Kim will host a gathering of the nerdom’s finest bloggers, journalists, content creators, social media personalities – and fans – at the Dragon’s Den (315 10th Avenue).

This free event is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the people behind some of your favorite websites and communities, just after Preview Night and ahead of the intensity of SDCC proper. Whether you’re a blogger or a consumer, this event is for you.

San Diego Comic-Con is so much more than just seeing an amazing show, it’s an opportunity to join forces with allies, meet revered social media warriors and forge new life changing alliances. After Preview Night, I invite you to revel with myself and the Nerd/Geek/blogger/YouTube/Social Media/Photography/Comic-Con community – as well as fellow fans. And the best part of Game of Bloggers? The King or Queen is YOU! What we are looking for:

  1. Content Creators: If you run a nerdy website, geeky instagram account, comic-con focused YouTube channel, pop culture blog, etc, I want you to join us. Anyone from the media is welcomed but contact me at Crazy4ComicCon (at) Hotmail (dot) com to be officially a part of this meet up and have your media logo added to the list of guests.
  2. Fans: It’s not a Comic-Con party unless there are celebs – that’s you! If you are a fan of any of the sites listed below, we want to interview, podcast, Tweet, or vlog you on your thoughts on why you chose to come to SDCC, what you hope to see, and why Comic-Con is so important to you and culture. We want to meet you!

New to the convention blogging community? This is an awesome way to create awareness about your website. Podcasters and vloggers, this is a great chance to interview fans! This will especially be a great opportunity for photographers to network with websites that are covering Comic-Con this week. Social Media gurus, you will have more selfie pics than the internet will know what to do with! Overall, Game of Bloggers will be the perfect time to coordinate coverage or partner up with fellow content creators. This will be a FANtastic way to kick off your week and guaranteed to be more fun than a Red Wedding!
